Sky Ranch Tagaytay has always delighted tourists of all ages. Opened in March 2013, this leisure and entertainment park offers exciting rides and games, along with picturesque views of Taal Lake. Towering above the park is its most recognizable structure and symbol, the Sky Eye, a 63-meter-tall Ferris Wheel.

When is the best time to go?

As always, going there on a weekday is your best bet if you don’t want to share the park with a large number of visitors. Mondays to Thursdays usually have fewer visitors, while weekends and holidays tend to be busier.

Sky Ranch Tagaytay Sunny Weekday

We visited on a Thursday and didn’t have to wait in line for any of the rides. However, when we went on a Saturday, the park was much more crowded. While not all attractions had long queues, visitors still had to wait for some of the most popular rides, including the Sky Eye. Also note that some rides may not be available on weekdays.

What are the operating hours?

How to get to Sky Ranch Tagaytay?

The journey from Manila usually takes around three hours, depending on the road and traffic conditions.

By Public Transportation

DLTB Bus Tagaytay

If taking public transportation from Manila, you need to ride a bus bound for Nasugbu, Batangas. You can either head to the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) or DLTB Buendia Terminal in Pasay. The bus fare from Manila to Tagaytay is P100-120, depending on your departure point in Manila.

Tell the conductor you’re going to Sky Ranch. There’s a big chance the bus will not really pass by Sky Ranch because most buses take Mahogany Avenue, which bypasses a section of Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway approaching Mendez. Instead, they will drop you off at the Petron Gas Station. See map below.

So, you have two options:

OPTION 1

  1. Alight at the Petron Gas Station at the Y-junction. Your landmark is The Lake Hotel. Mahogany Avenue is on the right, while the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway continues to the left.
  2. Take the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway route on the left, then walk towards Sky Ranch. It’s a 20-minute walk.

Alternatively, you can wait for a jeepney bound for Mendez or Alfonso from Petron Gas Station. However, as of writing, this will only work on weekdays because the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Road transforms into a one-way road (Calamba- or Sta. Rosa-bound) on weekends.

OPTION 2

  1. Alight at Tagaytay Rotonda or Olivarez New Terminal. Olivarez New Terminal is the main transport terminal for jeepneys and vans in Tagaytay.
  2. Ride a jeepney bound for Mendez or Alfonso. Tell the driver to drop you off at Skyranch. The jeepney fare is P13-14. Note again that on weekends, the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway becomes a one-way road (Calamba- or Sta. Rosa-bound).

Alternatively, you can hail a tricycle (bukyo) and take a special trip to Sky Ranch. The usual fare is P100 per ride, good for three people.
  3. Alight at Sky Ranch Tagaytay.

By Private Vehicle

  1. From Manila, drive via the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) or the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) and Aguinaldo Highway. Whichever route you choose, you’ll pass through Tagaytay Rotonda.
  2. From Tagaytay Rotonda, continue driving through Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway until you reach Sky Ranch Tagaytay.

Turn on your Waze or Google Maps to get real-time directions and the traffic updates.

Where can we park our car?

There are two parking areas available: the Main Parking Area in front of the park and the Annex Parking Area just across the street. Here are the rates:

  • Bicycle/Motorcycle: P30
  • Car: P50
  • Bus: P150
  • Overnight/Lost Ticket: P200

REMINDER: Do not lose your parking ticket. Otherwise, you will be charged a penalty fee of P200 in addition to your parking fee. You will also be required to present your vehicle’s Certificate of Registration and Official Receipt.

Are there ATMs inside or nearby?

Yes! We’ve spotted BDO and RCBC ATMs within the park’s premises, particularly at the ticketing booth area. But, it’s still best to bring enough cash in case these machines go offline or run out of cash.

What are the rules and regulations inside the park?
