Since the community quarantine began, one of the things that I have been craving is a soft, sweet donut. Although I’m always eager to cook, I just don’t know how to make donuts and anything that involves flour (haha).

Donuts come in various shapes and sizes: rings donuts, filled donuts, donut holes, just to name a few. It comes in different flavors and sometimes has toppings as well. Here in the Philippines, there are several popular donut franchises with branches all over the country. Most of them closed their stores when the enhanced community quarantine was implemented. But these donut shops reopened some of their branches recently.

Here are some donut brands that deliver donuts through third-party services like GrabFood, Lala Food, and the pabili features of ride-hailing apps.

KRISPY KREME Delivery

Krispy Kreme opened its first store in Fort Bonifacio in 2006. They are known for their original glazed donuts, but they also have many other flavors and variants including the cake donuts.

Krispy Kreme stores are now open for take out and drive-thru. They also accept orders for pick-up and delivery through their hotline 888-79000 and now.krispykreme.com.ph. There are also stores that caters to orders through food delivery service apps Food Panda and Grab Food.

• To order, just use the GrabFood or FoodPanda app. You may also call 888-79000 or place your order at now.krispykreme.com.ph.
• Minimum of 2 dozen donuts per transaction only.
• Ordering time is between 8:00am to 3:00pm only. No orders will be accepted outside this period.
• No guaranteed exact delivery time. Your order may arrive between 10am and 5pm on the scheduled date.
• Payment options: Cash on Delivery (COD) or charge pre-paid (all available payment options on the website).

J. Co Doughnuts and Coffee

When J.Co first came to the Philippines, it made waves and had people waiting in long queues just to purchase their donuts. This cafe restaurant that serves donuts, coffee, and frozen yogurt originated from Indonesia. J.Co has more than two dozens of flavors including their in demand Alcapone and continues to create more like Mylosaurus, their newest one.

J.Co opened several branches that exclusively accepts pre-booked orders for pick-up and delivery. Walk-in customers are not allowed.

How to Order

• Call your preferred branch to pre-order. Orders sent through SMS, Messenger or e-mail will not be entertained.
• Wait for the store representative to confirm your order and set a date and time for pick-up.
• Let the store representative know your preferred mode of payment. J.Co accepts cash, GCash Scan to Pay on pick-up and bank transfer.
• If using a delivery service like Grab, Angkas, and Lalamove to pick-up your order, let the store representative know your chosen delivery service and book the courier on the date and time of your scheduled pick-up.

DUNKIN’ DONUTS Delivery

Dunkin’ (formerly Dunkin’ Donuts) is an American donut company that opened in the Philippines in 1981. From their first store in Makati, they now have branches all over the country and has long been a favorite for Filipinos. Everybody probably has a preferred flavor, but their choco butternut is definitely a a popular choice.
