Homemade Taho

Missing your taho fix? Although we usually eat taho (soybean curd) in the morning, we can also have it as merienda. We get our taho from street peddlers or buy it from convenience stores. But during the quarantine period, we can’t help but miss it, right? Crave no more! We can actually make one in the comfort of our homes. For mojo lovers out there, Chef Edward created his version of Shakey’s mojos. He only used potatoes, eggs, instant fried chicken breading, pepper, and salt (optional). He also prepared his own ranch dip out of mayonnaise, sour cream, salt, atchara juice (or pickle juice), and chives.

Honeysuckle delights us with this recipe using a few simple ingredients such as egg, bread slices, cheese, sugar, and butter. The recipe is very flexible; instead of using sugar, you can incorporate other ingredients like strawberry jam, blueberry jam, and others that fit your preference. The same for cheese; instead of cheddar, you can use cream cheese or you may also take out the cheese if you are not a fan of it.

Jho Faith reveals that you can create your own mango ice cream at home using three ingredients: mango, condensed milk (168ml), and all-purpose cream (500ml or 2x 250 ml). The ingredients include milk, corn flour (or cornstarch), sugar, egg, all-purpose flour, lemon, cinnamon powder, and cinnamon stick. If you are not a fan of cinnamon, you may skip this ingredient or replace it with another that will suit your taste.
