Last May, the Department of Tourism released Administrative Order 2020-002. This requires Accommodation establishments like hotels, inns, pension houses and resorts to have a Certificate of Authority to Operate (CAO) prior to operations. The administrative order also provides the guidelines for the operation of these establishments. Some of the guidelines depend on the community quarantine status of the location of the establishments.

In line with this, DOT Region VI has released a list of lodging establishments with CAO or provisional CAO. In this post, we’re focusing on accommodations in the provinces of Antique and Capiz, as of July 24, 2020.

Note: Check the updated guidelines of the local government where the accommodation is located prior to booking.
